The School of the Built Environment at Napier University is one of the largest providers of professional education for the built environment in Scotland, encompassing the areas of property and sustainable urban development. The public sector property management examines the development of local authority property management and the search for better standards of property management in the public sector. This research examines the assessment methods and tools available to evaluate the sustainability of developments in planning policy, property and construction markets and urban models they are drawn from.
