>> Stimulating citizens' interest in participation to aid mutual understanding between stakeholders
The area of Brozzi-Pertola is physically bordered by motorways, railway lines and an airport and features a large proportion of low-cost social housing and a diverse, complex community. The case study provides details of stakeholder analysis undertaken in the area and identifies how nominal group techniques were used to identify participative activities and engage with a sceptical local community. The document further illustrates the 4 scenarios considered by stakeholders and the resulting formulation of programmes and major activities.
